Christmas Gift Box

Christmas Gift Box is located over at No. 2/51 in S. S. Kulam, which is part of Kallipalayam Village. We are right near the Classic Apartment, so that is what we tell people when they are trying to find our door. Despite the name, we are here all year round, not just in December. The village is a bit quieter than the city, which suits us just fine. Our workspace is usually filled with cardboard, ribbons, and all sorts of packing materials. It gets a bit messy when we have a big order to get out, with scraps of paper and tape all over the floor. We do not have a big corporate setup here. It is just a local operation where we put things together by hand. You can often see us loading boxes into the back of a small van out front. The neighbors from the apartments sometimes walk by and peek in to see what we are working on today. It is a simple routine of measuring, cutting, and taping. We don't use fancy machines for this; it is mostly just us sitting at the big wooden tables. Sometimes we have tea outside under the shade when it gets too hot inside the workroom. Kallipalayam is a nice place to work because it feels more like a community than a business district. We just keep our heads down and make sure the boxes are sturdy and ready to go to the customers.
