Mahanaim Architects

Mahanaim Architects is based on Sakthi Road in the Ganapathy area of Coimbatore. We are situated right opposite the Prozone Mall, which makes us very easy to find. It’s a busy part of town, especially on the weekends, but we’ve grown used to the pace. Our office is where the ideas start. It’s a mix of old drafting tables and newer computers. We aren't the type of architects who wear suits every day. Usually, we’re in casual clothes, ready to head out to a dusty construction site at a moment's notice. We deal with the bones of a building, making sure everything is structural and safe before anyone even thinks about what color the walls will be. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s second nature. We don't have a receptionist to filter calls; usually, whoever is closest to the phone picks it up. We like it that way. It keeps us connected to the people we’re working for. Ganapathy is a good location for us because it’s easy to get to different parts of the city from here. We spend a lot of time in the car, traveling between different projects. We aren't looking to become a giant firm. We just want to keep designing buildings that stand up and look decent. It’s straightforward work that requires a lot of attention to detail, and that’s what we focus on every day.
