Our shop is based in Tamil Nadu, around the 641 665 area. We’ve been in the garment business for quite some time now. It’s a lot of fabric, thread, and the sound of machines running all day long. We don't have a big storefront with mannequins in the window. It’s more of a workspace where we actually make the clothes. Most of the people working here live nearby and have been sewing for years. They are really fast with their hands. We deal with different types of orders, some big and some small. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it is here. We focus on making things that hold together and look okay. We don't really follow all the latest high-fashion trends from the big cities. We just make practical garments that people can actually wear. The space is usually filled with rolls of cloth and piles of finished shirts or pants. It can get a bit dusty, but we keep the fans going. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest factory in the state. We just want to keep the machines humming and the orders going out on time. If you walked in, you’d just see a bunch of us focused on our work. It’s a quiet life in a way, even with the noise of the sewing machines. We just keep sewing and packing boxes.
