M & K Wires

M & K Wires is located down in Udumalpet, which is part of the Coimbatore district in Tamilnadu. We are on Chellamuthu Street at number 35. As the name says, we make wires. It’s a manufacturing setup, so there are machines running most of the time. The noise is something you get used to after a few days. We produce different types of wires for various uses. It’s a very practical business. We have to be careful with the measurements because even a small mistake can ruin a whole batch. The heat in Tamilnadu can be a bit much in the summer months, but the factory is ventilated enough to keep us going. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. We are just a local business trying to do things the right way. Most of our workers are from around the Udumalpet area. We’ve been on Chellamuthu Street for a long time. People around here know us as the wire folks. We don't spend money on big ads. Usually, customers come to us because they’ve used our wires before and they worked fine. It’s a steady pace of work. We start early in the morning and wrap up when the day’s production is done. It’s not fancy, but it’s what we do, and we’ve gotten pretty good at it over the years. We just keep making wires and hope for the best. It’s a good way to earn a living in this town.
