Lotus Eye Hospital & Institute

You can find us at 155B East Periyasamy Road. We are situated quite close to the Chinthamani area, which is a well-known spot around here. Lotus Eye Hospital & Institute is a place where we spend our days looking at eyes and teaching others about them too. The building is a decent size, and it has to be because we have a lot of different departments. There is the hospital side where patients come for their checkups, and then there is the institute side where more of the learning and administrative work happens. Being near Chinthamani means it’s a busy neighborhood with lots of shops and people walking around. We have a team of doctors and assistants who have been working together for years. It’s a very routine-heavy environment. We start early, get the equipment ready, and start seeing the first group of people waiting outside. The halls are often narrow and filled with files, as we still keep a lot of physical records. We don’t have a professional PR team or anything like that writing our stuff. We are just local people working in the eye care field. The building is older, but it serves its purpose. We focus on the daily tasks like updating charts and making sure the exam rooms are clean. It’s a plain, functional institute that is just a part of the daily life on East Periyasamy Road near the Chinthamani junction.
