Live Mart International

Our shop is number 6 on M T P Road, right in the middle of Sivanantha Colony. It’s a busy street, and there is always something going on outside our door. Live Mart International is the name we use, but most folks just know us as the guys at Shop 6. We’ve got a bit of everything packed into this space. It can get a little crowded when we get a new shipment in, and sometimes finding a specific item takes a minute, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big corporate office or a team of managers. It’s just us working the floor and helping people who stop in. Sivanantha Colony is a lively place to have a business. You meet all kinds of characters on M T P Road. We spend a lot of our time organizing the shelves and making sure the shop looks halfway decent, though it’s never going to be perfect. We don’t do much in the way of promotion. People usually find us because they’re already in the colony or they saw the sign while driving by. It’s a straightforward retail life. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and see who the day brings in. There is no hidden mission or big philosophy behind it. We just run the shop and try to keep things moving along as best as we can. It's a lot of work but it feels good.
