We are right here at 30 Amman Kovil Street, in the Venkatapuram area, not far from the G.C.T Post. Lakshmi And Company has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. It’s a traditional spot, and we like being close to the temple and the local shops. Our building is an older one, the kind with thick walls that keep it a bit cooler in the summer. We don't have any of those modern office features like glass walls or open-plan seating. It’s more of a classic setup with a front counter and a lot of storage in the back for our stock. We handle a variety of items that people in the trade need, and we’ve gotten to know our regulars over the years. You’ll often find a few people standing around the entrance having a chat about the news or the weather while they wait for their orders. It’s a slow and steady pace here. We don't believe in rushing things if it means making a mistake. The paperwork is still mostly done by hand or on an old computer that’s seen better days.
