L G Balakrishnan & Bros Ltd has its place at 6/16/13 Krishnarayapuram Road in the Ganapathy area. It’s an old name around here and people know the building well. The street can get quite narrow when the delivery trucks are parked outside. We have been working out of this Ganapathy location for a long time. The building shows its age a bit with some cracks in the paint and some squeaky doors, but everything inside works like it should. We spend our time managing the production lines and making sure the orders are ready. It is a family-named company, so it feels a bit more personal than those giant corporations. We don't have a big HR department or a bunch of managers in suits. Usually, the bosses are right there on the floor with us if something goes wrong with a machine. The Ganapathy neighborhood is a mix of houses and small shops, so we are part of the local community. We hear the temple bells and the local traffic all day long. We don't bother with fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. The paperwork gets done on old desks and we keep the files in metal cabinets. It’s a practical way to run a business and it has worked for us so far.
