We are based at E - 25 in the SIDCO Industrial Estate. It’s a busy spot with a lot of trucks and workers moving around at all hours. Janatics India Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this unit for a long time. The space is filled with the hum of machines and the smell of metal and oil. It’s an honest place to work. We don't have any big signs or flashy displays out front. Most people just know us by the unit number. The floor is usually covered in some kind of shavings or parts waiting to be packed up. We spend a lot of time making sure the machines are running right. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. The office part is just a couple of desks shoved in the corner where we handle the bills and the calls. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when all the equipment is running at once. We usually take our lunch together out back where there’s a bit of shade. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine, but it’s where we spend most of our lives. We know the neighbors at the other units and sometimes we swap tools or help each other out with loading. It’s a community of people just trying to get through the work week without too much trouble from the equipment.
