Unity Bags

Unity Bags is located over at Raheem Complex, specifically in the B-1 section. We are right on the Palakad Main Road in the Kunniyamuthur area of Coimbatore. If you drive past, you will see the complex is usually quite crowded with people coming and going. Our shop or unit, whichever you want to call it, is filled with all sorts of materials used for making bags. There is often a bit of a mess with threads and scraps on the floor, but we sweep up at the end of the day. Being on the main road means we hear the buses and lorries honking all day long, which can be a bit distracting if you aren't used to it. We just focus on the stitching and making sure the zippers work like they should. It is not a very big space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things so we don't trip. Most of the people who stop by are locals or people passing through on their way to Palakad. We keep things pretty informal here. There is no front desk or anything like that, just us working among the bags. Sometimes we sit outside on the step when the weather is nice to catch a bit of a breeze. It is just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily demands of the neighborhood.
