Krishnaveni Carbon Products (P) Ltd is located at 63/3 on Athipalayam Road in Chinnavedampatti. If you’ve ever worked with carbon, you know it’s a pretty messy business, and our place reflects that. There is black dust on almost every surface, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. The building is a basic industrial structure with high ceilings and plenty of ventilation to keep the air moving. We spend our days managing the machinery and making sure the product comes out the way it’s supposed to. Athipalayam Road is a busy stretch with a lot of trucks, so there’s always a bit of a roar from the traffic outside. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the equipment running. We have a small room where we keep the records, but it’s nothing fancy—just some old metal cupboards and a couple of chairs. Most of the staff have been here for a long time and they know exactly how to handle the materials. It’s a lot of physical work, and we don't really have time for corporate meetings or polished presentations. We just show up at the Chinnavedampatti site, get our hands dirty, and make sure the orders are filled. It is an honest living, even if it is a bit grimy. We just take things one day at a time here at 63/3 without making any big fuss about it.
