Krishna College Of Arts & Science

Being over here in Veerakeralam, it’s a bit quieter than the main city center of Coimbatore. Our site at Thendral Nagar is where we spend all our time. We started this arts and science college because we saw students in this area needed a place close to home. It’s not a massive campus with glass buildings. It’s more of a practical space where teachers and students actually talk to each other. We spend a lot of time in the office at Site No18 dealing with admissions and schedules. Sometimes the rain in Coimbatore makes the walk to the canteen a bit of a mess, but the students don't seem to mind. We have a lot of different classes going on at once. It can get a bit loud in the hallways during break time. Most of our staff live nearby, so it feels like a community. We don't have a big PR department making fancy videos. We just show up, do the lessons, and help the kids find their way. The garden needs more work, but we focus on the books first. It’s a simple place with a lot of regular people trying to learn something new. We’ve been in 641007 for a while now and we like the neighborhood. The local shops know us well. It is a good place to work and learn every day. Sometimes we host small events for the families nearby too when the term is ending.
