Our place is at 66, G.M Nagar, right along the Bypass Road in South Ukkadam. Coimbatore is a busy city, and being near the bypass means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our doors. We’ve been part of the local scene for quite a while now. Kirtilal Kalidas & Co has a long history, but here in this office, we just focus on the day-to-day operations. It’s a straightforward environment. We deal with our clients and manage our stock and paperwork without a lot of ceremony. The office is functional and maybe a bit old-fashioned in some ways, but it works for us. South Ukkadam is a familiar landmark for most people around here, so it’s not hard to explain where we are. We have a small team of people who know their jobs inside and out. We don't use big words to describe what we do; we just show up and get through the list of things that need doing. Whether it’s talking to suppliers or sorting out the accounts, we just keep at it. The humidity can be a bit much in the afternoons, but we’ve got used to it over the years.
