Kirby Building Systems India Ltd operates out of 242/243 on 6th Street in Ganthipuram. This is in Coimbatore-12. The office is right in the middle of a very active part of town. You can hear the city humming all day long. We focus on pre-engineered steel buildings here. Most of the time, the desks are covered in rolls of blueprints and technical manuals. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. The team is small and we all know each other well. We start the day with a quick catch-up and then it is straight into the logistics. There is a lot of back and forth with construction sites. The building itself is a standard commercial block. We do not have a big reception or anything; people just walk in and ask for who they need. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but that is just part of being in Ganthipuram. We have a little kitchen area where we make tea. It is an honest day's work for everyone here. We deal with structural parts and shipping schedules constantly. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a blessing in the Coimbatore heat. It is a simple, hardworking office where we do not put on any acts. We just focus on the task at hand and making sure the building parts are ready. Sometimes we stay late when a big project is nearing a deadline, but we do not mind much.
