King Auto Parts

King Auto Parts is located right in the M.M.A. Market area. We have shop numbers 113 and 231. It’s on the Ukkadam Sungam Bypass Road in South Ukkadam, near Pulian Thoppu. This market is always packed. If you’ve ever been to Ukkadam, you know how hectic it gets with the traffic and the noise. We sell all kinds of spare parts for cars and larger vehicles. The shops are small but they are stuffed from floor to ceiling with boxes. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for because there’s so much inventory stacked everywhere. We’ve been in this market for a long time. It’s a competitive spot, but we have our regular customers who come to us. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in or call us on the phone. It gets very dusty with the bypass road being so close. We spend a lot of time just dusting off the boxes and reorganizing the shelves. It’s a loud place to work, but you get used to it. We aren't doing anything special, just selling parts to keep people's cars moving. Most of the day is spent unloading crates and chatting with the other shopkeepers in the market. It’s a busy, messy, honest way to make a living. When the sun starts to go down, we start pulling the shutters, but there’s always one last customer.
