If you take a turn down Bagavatipalayam Road, you’ll find our gates. We’ve been here for a while now, and most days the campus is just filled with students rushing to their next lecture. It’s a busy place. The labs are usually full and there’s always someone working on a project in the corner. We aren’t a fancy city spot, but we have what’s needed for the students to get through their degrees. The faculty rooms are often cluttered with papers and books because there’s always something to grade. We spend a lot of time making sure the equipment is working and the classrooms are tidy. Some mornings it’s quiet before everyone arrives, and you can see the trees along the road. It feels like a small community once you get inside. Students hang out near the canteen during breaks, talking about exams or just whatever is happening that day. We don't really do big speeches here. It is more about getting to the workshops on time and finishing the syllabus. Our staff knows most of the locals around Bagavatipalayam because we’ve been part of the landscape for years. It’s a decent place to be if you’re looking to study engineering without all the noise of a major city center. We just keep things moving and try to make sure the library has enough chairs for everyone during finals week. There are always some loose papers flying around in the hallway and the printers sometimes jam right when they are needed most.
