Karthik Hosiery Mills

Karthik Hosiery Mills is located at S.F. No. 163. We are over in Chekkukaran Thottam. If you're coming down Palladam Road, you'll find us tucked away behind Santhai Pettai. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the main road, which we like. We’ve been running the mill here for a good while. It’s mostly just the sound of the machines and people moving boxes. We do hosiery work, which keeps us busy all through the year. The space we have is quite large but it’s mostly filled with equipment and raw materials. We don't have a front desk or anyone waiting to greet people; we are usually all in the back working. It’s honest work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. The building is simple, just walls and a roof to keep the sun off. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when everything is running at once, but that's just how a mill is. We’ve built our reputation by just being here and doing the work day in and day out. We don't do much advertising. People mostly find us by word of mouth or because they know the area around Santhai Pettai. We have a few locals working with us and we all just try to get the orders finished on time. It's not a complicated life here on Palladam Road, but it’s what we know. We just focus on the knitting and the finishing until the day is done.
