Jaya Electronic

We've been here at 136 Arisipalayam for a good while now. Jaya Electronic is just a small place along Velanthavalam Road, right by Othakkal Mandapam. People usually find us when they're driving past or if they live nearby and something stops working at home. It gets pretty dusty out here sometimes because of the traffic, but we keep the doors open. Most days it is just us working through a pile of boards and wires. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's mostly just workbenches and tools. When someone drops off a TV or a radio, we just put it in the queue. Sometimes we have to wait a bit for parts to come in from the city, which can be a bit of a headache. The neighbors stop by to chat sometimes while we're testing stuff. It is a quiet enough spot once you get used to the road noise. We try to keep things organized but with all the small components, it usually looks a bit messy to an outsider. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years since we set up shop. There are more shops around now than there used to be. It’s a decent place to spend the day. Usually, if we're not busy with a repair, we're just tidying up the back area. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a local spot where we get things done and keep the neighborhood running.
