Ion India

Our office is tucked away in the Sri Viswalakshmi Complex on 5th Street in Gandhipuram. If you know Coimbatore, you know how packed this area gets every single day. Finding a parking spot near D.No. 151 is always a bit of a challenge in the mornings. Ion India isn’t a very loud place. We mostly sit and handle the technical side of things. There are usually stacks of paperwork and some equipment scattered around the desks. It’s a bit cramped sometimes but it works for us. The windows look out over the street and you can hear the bikes zooming past all day. We have been in this complex for a while, so the neighbors all know us. It’s a lot of routine stuff like checking orders and answering the phone when it rings. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there working on something. Sometimes we go out for tea at the corner shop when things get too quiet. It’s a straightforward setup. We don’t try to act bigger than we are. Most of our day is spent making sure the technical details are right for whatever project is on the table. It’s honest work and the team here just gets on with it without making a big fuss about things. We just keep the files organized and the coffee pot going.
