Our office is on VKK Menon Road in Sidha Pudur, which is a busy part of Coimbatore. We are in a building that has a lot of other small businesses too. Impulzz Cosmo Impex is the name on the door, though most people around here just know us as the guys who deal with the shipping crates. It’s a lot of work keeping track of where everything is. The address is a bit of a mouthful with all those numbers like 689 and 11/1299. Usually, we just tell people to find the GPY area and look for our block. The office itself is quite functional. We have some metal cupboards for all the records and a few plastic chairs for when people come by to talk business. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the sound of bikes and horns from the street. We’ve got a small window that lets in some light, but it’s mostly fluorescent bulbs in here. Lunch is usually brought from home in those stainless steel boxes. We eat together at the big table in the middle. It’s a bit messy with all the pens and staplers everywhere, but we know where everything is. Managing imports and exports takes a lot of patience. You wait for the cargo, you wait for the clearance, and you wait for the payment. We are just a small team trying to stay on top of all those moving parts in Coimbatore every day.
