Impresso Gifts

I started this little gift shop called Impresso Gifts at Mig B 189 in Brundhavan Nagar Sitra. It is right near the Civil Aerodrome, which means it gets pretty busy around here during the day. People come in looking for something for a birthday or a wedding. We have shelves full of small items, picture frames, and cards. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the main roads and the airport, so I spend a lot of time just wiping things down and organizing the racks. Sometimes the planes overhead are quite loud, but we are used to it by now. It is just me and a couple of others helping out most of the time. We handle the gift wrapping and check the stock when the new boxes arrive from the suppliers. This isn't a massive showroom or anything fancy like you see in the malls. It is just a local spot where you can find a nice mug or a wall hanging. The neighborhood around Sitra has changed a lot since we first opened up. There are way more cars now. Mostly we just sit here and wait for the afternoon rush when people are heading home. Sometimes travelers get lost looking for the aerodrome and stop in just to ask for directions. I don't mind that at all. It is nice to have a chat. We keep things simple here. It is just a regular day-to-day business for us.
