Icici

Out here in Somayanur, things are a bit quieter compared to the main city of Coimbatore. Our Icici address is 2/2, and we have been at this location for some time now. It is a bit of a trek for some, but for the people living in this part of Tamil Nadu, it is just where we are. The pin code is 641108 if you are looking at a map. The building is sturdy and does what it needs to do. Inside, it is just a bunch of us working through the piles of work that come in. We have the usual desks and the computers hum all day long. Outside, you can see a bit of the local landscape, and sometimes it is quite nice when the breeze picks up. We don't have any big signs or anything too bright. It is a practical space where we focus on getting through the list of things to do before the day ends. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of life here, so we wait it out or use the backup if needed. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going during the long afternoons. The floor is a bit worn in spots where people walk the most, but it is clean enough. We are just a small part of the village life here, really. Every day is pretty much the same routine of opening up, doing the work, and then heading home.
