Our Icici office is situated over at 14, Sakthi Ganesh Nagar, which is part of the Cheran Ma Nagar area in Coimbatore. It is a decent neighborhood and things are usually pretty steady around here. We are in a residential-looking patch but there are enough small shops around that it stays lively throughout the day. The building is easy to find if you are looking for number 14. We spend most of our time inside dealing with paperwork and the usual day-to-day operations. It is a simple setup with enough room for the staff to move around without bumping into each other too much. Coimbatore weather can get a bit warm, so the fans are almost always running in the background. You can hear the sound of motorbikes going past the window every few minutes. We don’t really do anything flashy. The furniture is functional and we keep our records in the cabinets along the back wall. Lunch breaks usually mean someone heading out to grab tea from the local stall down the road. It is just a normal place of work for us. We know the neighbors fairly well and sometimes they pop their heads in to say hello. It isn't like those big glass buildings downtown; it feels more like a local spot. We stay busy with the routine and keep the place as tidy as we can manage even when it gets a bit hectic.
