Icici Prudential Insurance

We are over at 5/45 Old Postoffice Road in Chinna Thadagam. It’s a busy enough spot in Coimbatore. Most days start around nine when we unlock the front door and let the fresh air in. It can get pretty stuffy if the fans haven't been running all night. We spend a lot of time looking at papers and sitting behind these wooden desks that have been here for years. You’ll see us talking to folks from the neighborhood who just drop in because they were passing by the old post office anyway. It is not a very fancy setup, just some chairs and a water cooler that makes a loud noise every now and then. We have a few computers that take their time to start up in the morning. Someone usually goes out to get tea for everyone around eleven o'clock. That is when the real work happens, mostly checking names and numbers on policy documents. We don't have those big glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular room with some files stacked up in the corner. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a week or so. Most of the people who come here are our neighbors or people living down the road. We just sit here and do what needs doing until it’s time to lock up and head home. It is simple enough for us.
