Out here at 136 Mettur Road in Thalanar, things stay pretty consistent day after day. Hyundai Transys is set up in a spot that feels a bit removed from the main city rush, but the road itself is always active with commuters and trucks. Thalanar is a quiet enough place if you step away from the industrial sites, but inside our walls, it’s a different story. We deal with the usual humidity that comes with this part of the country, and the fans in the building never seem to be fast enough. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages, so there is a lot of local talk during the lunch breaks. We don't have a marketing department writing fancy stories about us. We are just a group of people who show up to work on Mettur Road every morning. The work is technical and requires a lot of sitting or standing in one place for long hours. You get used to the rhythm of the machines and the specific way the light hits the floor in the late afternoon. There isn't much to see if you are looking for something flashy. It’s an industrial space meant for industrial work. We keep our tools organized, more or less, and we keep the floor clear so nobody trips. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and at the end of it, we all just head home and do it again tomorrow. It is what it is.
