House Wife

This is basically just our home on 1st Street in Indira Nagar. It's listed under House Wife because that is what is happening here on Nanjundapuram Road. Coimbatore is a nice enough place to live, and this neighborhood is pretty settled. 323/F is just a standard house. There isn't a front desk or a lobby or anything like that. You’ll probably see some laundry drying out back if you come by. We spend the day taking care of the usual things that need doing around a house. It’s a lot of cooking, cleaning, and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes it feels like the work never actually ends, but I suppose that's how it is for everyone. The street is usually quiet, except when the school bus comes through in the morning and afternoon. We know the people living next door and we look out for each other. It isn't a business in the way people usually think of one. It’s just a life being lived in this part of Tamil Nadu. I try to keep things tidy, but with daily life, there’s always a bit of clutter somewhere. It’s a practical way of existing. We aren't trying to be anything other than what we are. Just a household doing its thing every single day. We've been here for several years now.
