We are located in Thinniyoor Village, which is part of the Aravenu Post area near Kotagiri. If you know the Nilgiris, you know it is quite a climb to get up here. Our office isn't one of those big glass buildings you see in the city. It’s just a local branch where we handle the banking needs of the people living around these hills. Most days it is quiet, though we get busy when everyone comes in for their monthly business or to ask questions about their accounts. We have been sitting at this address for quite a while now. The team here is small, and we mostly know everyone who walks through the door by name. We spend our time going through paperwork, checking ledgers, and making sure the cash is right at the end of the day. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and makes it hard to get around, but we stay open regardless. We don't have fancy coffee machines or a big lobby, just a couple of desks and some chairs for people to wait. It is a simple setup for a bank, but it works for our corner of Tamil Nadu. People stop by to chat as much as they do to deposit money. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss or complicated procedures that nobody understands. It's just us here in the village doing our part for the local community.
