Hindustan Unilever Limited

Our office is tucked away on 3rd Cross Street in Maniakarampalayam, over in the Visaka Avenue area of Coimbatore. The door number is 7, and it is a busy little corner of the city. We are mostly busy with the logistical side of things for Hindustan Unilever Limited, so there is always a truck or a van somewhere nearby. The neighborhood of Nandavanathottam is a mix of houses and small businesses, so you see all kinds of people throughout the day. The sun in Coimbatore can be quite strong, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning before it gets too hot inside the building. The space we have is filled with boxes and paperwork, and maybe a few old calendars on the wall. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come in, you’ll probably just see someone at a desk or moving things around in the back. It is an honest day's work, and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and chat for a bit until it comes back on. That is just how things are here. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers well. It is a practical place to be, and we just keep moving along with our daily chores and tasks without much fuss or worry about the small stuff.
