Hindustan Moulds & Dies

We’ve been working out of this spot at 45-D/3 on IIIrd Street for quite a while now. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Ravi Theatre in Sivanandhapuram. It’s a local area and most people around Saravanampatti know the way. We do moulds and dies here. It’s mostly just a few of us in the workshop making things work. The shop gets pretty noisy when the machines are running, but that's just how it is. Some days we are buried in work and other days it’s a bit quieter. We don’t have a fancy office or a lobby. You just walk in and you’ll see us at the benches. We’ve been handling the metal work in this same spot for years. My father actually started things off, and I just kept it going. We don’t spend money on big signs or advertisements. The local folks know what we do and they just come by when they need something. It’s dusty and oily work, but it’s what we know. The heat gets pretty bad in the summer months, but we have a few old fans that help a bit. We spend most of our time checking measurements or fixing the equipment. It’s just honest, practical work without any of the big corporate talk. We just want to get the job done right so the next person can do their part. It’s not a fancy life, but it suits us well enough.
