We are located on Kovai Road in Annur. If you are looking for us, we are right by Sri Jayalakshmi Oil Mills. It’s easy to find because you can usually smell the oil when you get close. My name is Loganayaki and my father is Swaminathan. We’ve been around this area for a long time. The business name might look a bit strange to some, but to us, it’s just where we work every day. Annur is a busy town and being on the main Kovai Road means there is always traffic passing by. Our days start early, usually before the sun is fully up, to beat the heat. We deal with various things related to the mill and the local trade here. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of bags and orders. The mill is a loud place, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard over the machinery. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have a small desk and some chairs where we sit with customers. Sometimes we share some tea and talk about the harvest or the prices of oil. It’s a very traditional way of doing things. We don't use much technology, just the basics to keep our records. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy and we like being part of the Annur community for so many years.
