Havells India Ltd,Coimbatore

Down in Coimbatore, Havells India Ltd is based on Park Street in the Kattoor area. Our office is on the second floor of the Regal Complex, at number 82. It is an older building with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying boxes. We have a decent amount of space, but it always seems to get filled up with boxes and equipment. The windows look out over the street, so we can see the rain when the monsoon hits. Coimbatore is a hard-working city, and we try to match that energy here. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a basic filter and some local powder. The office layout is a bit haphazard; we just put desks wherever there was an outlet. We spend the day coordinating things and making sure the numbers add up. It is mostly quiet, except for the sound of the fans and the occasional horn from the street below. We don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and try to be helpful when someone calls or walks in. It’s a steady, honest place to work. We’ve got a few photos of our families on the desks, and that's about it for decoration. It is just our local base here in Tamil Nadu where we handle our business every day.
