Harish Machine Tools

Our shop is located at No. 42 on Othiyam Pet Road. It’s a place where things are heavy and usually a bit oily. We deal with machine tools, so there is always the sound of metal clanking or something being moved with a pallet jack. The floor is concrete and has some stains from years of work, which is pretty normal for a place like this. We have rows of different tools and parts lined up. It’s not the kind of place where you come to look at pretty things. It’s for people who need to get a job done. The air usually smells like machine oil and maybe a bit of exhaust from the trucks that deliver the stock. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit disorganized when we are busy, but we find what we need eventually. The road outside isn't too wide, so when a big delivery comes, it can get a bit tight. We know most of the people who come in because they are regulars from the local workshops. We don't do much talking unless it's about the specs of a machine or how much a part costs. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss. If the machine works, the customer is happy, and that is enough for us to finish our day and go home.
