H. M. Bros Limited

H. M. Bros Limited is located at 288 Dr. Nanjappa Road. It’s a busy street with a lot of traffic and noise, but we have been here so long that we don't even notice it anymore. The shop is full of boxes and stock that we’ve gathered over the years. My father was the one who really got things moving here, and now it’s just the family keeping it going. We don’t have a big staff, just a few local guys who know where everything is kept. If you are looking for something specific, you usually have to ask because the shelves are a bit of a mess. We don't use computers for everything, so there are still a lot of handwritten notes and old ledgers tucked away in the drawers. It’s a practical way of doing things that has worked for us for a long time. People from the neighborhood stop by to chat as much as they do to buy anything. We usually have a fan running in the corner to keep the heat down. It’s not a polished store with bright lights. It’s just a local business on a busy road. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. There isn't much more to it than that. We just try to keep enough stock on hand so nobody leaves disappointed. It’s hard work sometimes, but it’s what we know.
