Gyp System

If you head down to Pattanam in Coimbatore, you’ll find us on Devar Kovil Street at number 5/5. Gyp System is a small operation. We mostly work with gypsum boards and ceiling materials. It’s a bit of a messy job, keeping all that white powder off the floors. The shop is on a narrow street, so it’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for the sign. We’ve got a few workers here who have been putting up ceilings for years. Coimbatore is a busy city, but our little corner in Pattanam feels a bit more like a neighborhood. We don't do big advertisements. Most people find us through someone they know. The office is really just a desk in the corner of the warehouse. We spend our days measuring things and loading the truck. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. It’s a local business through and through. We handle the orders as they come in. There isn't any fancy strategy here. We just make sure we have enough stock for the next job. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving heavy boards around. The weather in Coimbatore can get hot, which makes the work even tougher, but we get through it. We like it here on Devar Kovil Street. It’s a good place to be based for the work we do. It's simple and it works for us.
