Greenway Realities (P) Limited is based at 21, Hindustan Avenue, on Udayamsalayam Road. It is a good, central spot for a real estate office. Most of our day is spent looking over property documents or talking to people about land. The office is small and simple, just a few desks and some chairs for anyone who stops by to ask questions. Udayamsalayam Road is quite noisy, so we are used to the sound of horns and engines all day long. We have been working in this specific neighborhood for a long time, so we know the local streets and houses very well. We aren't like those big, shiny agencies you see in the city center. We are just a local operation dealing with the people around here. Often, we are out showing properties to families and then we come back to the office to sort out the files in the evening. Our desks are usually a mess of maps and handwritten notes, but that’s just how we operate. We don't have a receptionist, so we just answer the phone ourselves whenever it rings. It’s a steady way to earn a living and we enjoy meeting different people. If someone wants to know about rent or a piece of land, we just give them the facts we have. There isn't any big sales pitch here. We just show what is available and let people make their own choices.
