Green Traders

Our place is at No: 89 in Kurinji Nagar. It’s tucked away in the Vilankurichi Post area, near Cheran Ma Nagar. It’s a decent neighborhood, mostly quiet compared to the main city center. We operate out of a building that looks like any other house on the street, except for the crates and the occasional delivery truck parked out front. We’ve been Green Traders for a while, dealing with various goods that come through this part of town. The office part is just a couple of old desks and a computer that takes forever to start up. We spend most of the day on the phone or checking lists of what’s arrived. It’s not glamorous work. There are files stacked up in the corner that we really should organize better. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat while we’re unloading. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales pitch. We just try to get the orders right and keep the inventory moving. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us making sure everything is where it should be. We usually finish up late in the evening when the streetlights come on. It’s a simple life here in Vilankurichi, and we’re fine with that.
