Down here on Pollachi Main Road, you'll find us at the Sidco Industrial Estate. Our specific spot is 14/237-D in the Gandhiji Layout area. The sign on the door says Golden Electronic Controls (India) Pvt. Ltd., though that’s a bit of a mouthful for a small office. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the neighboring units, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. The workshop floor is where most of the action happens every day. We’ve got a mix of older guys who have been doing this forever and some newer faces learning the ropes. It’s not the most modern-looking building, but it does what it needs to do for the work we handle. There's always someone coming or going with a delivery, and the front gate usually has a bit of a squeak that we keep meaning to fix when we have a spare moment. Inside, it’s all about the control panels and the wiring. We don’t spend much on decorations or fancy office furniture because the real work happens at the benches. Lunch breaks are usually spent sitting around the common table, talking about local news or whatever is happening on the road outside. The traffic on Pollachi Main Road can be a nightmare during peak hours, so we try to time our logistics and deliveries around that. It’s a practical environment. No one wears suits here. We’re mostly in work shirts or whatever is comfortable for moving equipment.
