This is the spot for Geometric Machining Solutions, situated at 278 A in Sivasakthi Colony, over in the Ganapathy area. It’s a place where there’s always the smell of machine oil and the sound of metal being worked on. Machining is what we do, and we’ve got the lathes and tools to show for it. Sivasakthi Colony is a bit of a residential-industrial mix, so we know all the neighbors pretty well. We don’t have a fancy office; the main workspace is where we spend ninety percent of our time. It can get pretty loud and messy, but that’s just the nature of the job. We’ve got grease on our hands most days, and we don't mind it. The team is small, mostly guys from around the Ganapathy neighborhood who know their way around a machine. We don’t have any polished marketing materials or a big sales team. Usually, people just drop by the shop if they need something done. We handle each job as it comes, sometimes staying late if a machine part is being stubborn. It’s honest, physical work that requires a lot of patience. The building itself is just a simple shed-like structure that keeps the rain off the equipment. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to finish the parts correctly and move on to the next task. It’s a basic way of living, but it suits us just fine.
