Dgp Structural Frames

We are over at 298 on the 7th Street Extension, just off 100 Feet Road. Dgp Structural Frames is basically a workshop where we deal with a lot of heavy lifting and metalwork. Being near 100 Feet Road means there is always the sound of traffic in the background. It is a busy area, but our specific street is a little tucked away from the main chaos. The workshop is usually a mess of steel beams and welding equipment. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and find someone working on a frame. It’s a gritty job, and our clothes are usually stained with oil or dirt by ten in the morning. We spend a lot of time measuring twice and cutting once, because mistakes with steel are expensive. It gets very hot in here during the summer months, so we keep the big doors wide open to get a breeze. Our team is small, mostly guys who have been doing this for years. We talk more with our hands than anything else when the machines are running. There’s a tea stall at the corner where we usually go once or twice a day to clear our heads. It isn't a fancy setup, but it’s where we do our work and it suits us just fine. Every day is about getting the frames built correctly and out the door for whatever building project is waiting for them.
