Sri Volka Texvin

Our place, Sri Volka Texvin, is located at No. 19 on Avarampalayam Road in the K. R. Puram area, near the Ganapathy Post. It’s a busy neighborhood where there is always something going on. We have been here for a good while, and the locals all know the sound of our machines. The building is a bit tucked away, but once you find No. 19, you can’t miss us. Inside, it’s mostly about the textile work. We have rows of equipment and stacks of materials that take up most of the floor space. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like the rhythm of it. We usually start the day with a quick talk about what needs to get done before the afternoon heat sets in. The Ganapathy area is great because everything we need is close by, but the traffic on Avarampalayam Road can be a real pain during rush hour. We don’t have any polished brochures or a big sales team. It’s just us, the machines, and the work that comes in. Often, you’ll find one of us fixing a belt or oiling the parts to keep things smooth. We take our tea breaks outside on the step just to get a bit of fresh air and watch the cars go by. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’ve grown fond of this little corner of the city. We hope to stay here for many more years to come.
