Located at 40-A in the Anandha Housing Colony, our Pump Division office feels more like a part of the neighborhood than a cold corporate branch. Coimbatore has a way of making even industrial work feel local. The colony is usually quiet compared to the main roads, which makes it a nice place to spend the day. We are in Tamil Nadu, so the summers are no joke, but we have enough shade around the building to keep things manageable. Flowserve India Controls has been here for a while now. The office setup is very standard—desks, a few meeting rooms that actually get used for meetings, and a small area for the files. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or any of that. Usually, the first person you see is just whoever is closest to the door. We handle the pump side of things here, which means there’s a lot of technical talk going on between the desks. Most of us have our own routines, like where we get our tiffin or which route we take to avoid the junction traffic at five o'clock. It’s a grounded atmosphere. There isn't any pressure to sound like a global giant when we are just sitting here in Anandha Colony. We do our work, talk to our colleagues, and keep the operations steady. It’s an honest way to spend the work week with people you know.
