We are tucked away in the hills of Kotagiri, specifically in the Sulligudu area. Being a designer and contractor in a place like the Nilgiris is quite a bit different than doing it in a big city. Chitra runs things from this address here in Kaikatty. The weather can be a bit of a challenge sometimes when we have a project going on, especially with the mist coming in early and making the roads damp. We do a lot of the local work, just helping folks get their buildings right or figuring out how a space should be laid out. It’s a small operation, really. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass doors or a receptionist. It is just a practical spot where we keep our drawings and talk to the workers. Most of our days are spent checking on different sites around the post office area or up the hill. You get to know everyone around here after a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there, just doing the work that comes our way. The roads are a bit narrow to get up to us, but the view makes up for it most of the time.
