You can find us at number 60 on Rabindranath Tagore Road in the Ganapathy area. Maniyakaranpalayam is a busy spot, and our little engineering workshop is right in the middle of it. We’ve been here for years, and the neighbors have probably gotten used to the noise we make by now. We do all kinds of engineering jobs, from fixing small parts to helping out with bigger local projects. The workshop isn’t very big, so we have to stay organized, though some days it looks like a mess of tools and metal shavings. We have a few machines that have been with us since the beginning, and they still work better than the newer stuff we bought last year. The guys here have been working in engineering since they were kids, so they know the tricks that aren’t in the manuals. We usually keep the front door open to let a breeze in, but that also lets in all the street noise from Ganapathy. It’s a humble place, honestly. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our overalls covered in grease. We prefer it that way. Most of our work comes from people just walking in or old customers who have known us since we started on this road. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy enough.
