Our place, English Tools & Castings Pvt. Ltd., is located at 100/15 in the Sidco Industrial Estate. If you know the area, you know it’s a hub for all sorts of manufacturing and tool work. We’ve got a decent-sized setup here where we handle a lot of the casting and tool-making tasks that keep things moving. The estate is always buzzing with activity, trucks coming in and out, and the smell of hot metal in the air. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You walk in and you’re pretty much right where the action is. The floors are concrete and the tools are heavy. We’ve spent years getting the shop layout just right so we can move from one stage of the casting process to the next without tripping over each other. It’s a physical job, and the guys who work here have the calluses to prove it. We don’t use any polished language to describe what we do. We take raw materials, use the molds, and produce the tools people ask for. Sometimes a casting doesn’t come out right and we have to do it over, but that’s just part of the trade. Being at Sidco suits us because everything we need is nearby. It’s a gritty, honest environment where we focus on the metal and the machines instead of marketing. We stay busy enough without needing to be loud about it.
