Eco Designs

Eco Designs is tucked away in the Guru Building on Kasthuribai Street. It’s a quiet enough spot in Ganapathy, though Old Sathy Road is always moving. We are at No 1A. The office isn't very big, but we have enough room for our desks and a few chairs for visitors. We’ve been in this building for some time now and know the neighbors pretty well. Usually, the morning starts with opening up the shutters and letting some air in. Coimbatore weather is mostly predictable, so we know when the rain is coming. We spend our hours sitting around the main table, looking at layouts and arguing about where a window should go or how a wall should look. It’s mostly just practical work. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our coffee in the afternoon. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with scooters, but that's just how it is in this part of town. We don't really do much in the way of decorating the office. There are stacks of paper and rolls of drawings in the corners. It feels like a real workspace because it is. We try to keep things organized, but when we get busy, things tend to pile up on the desks. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don't have a receptionist, so usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. It works for us. We just keep doing our thing every day without too much fuss.
