Dr. Mahalingam College Of Engg. & Tech.

We've been here in Coimbatore for a while now. The Dr. Mahalingam College Of Engg. & Tech. is located over on Age road in Tamil Nadu. People usually just call it the college or MCET when they talk about it around here. We have a lot of students coming through these doors every single day of the week. It is a busy place with all the different engineering labs and the classrooms. Most of the staff live nearby, so we are really just part of the local scene. Sometimes the traffic near the 642 003 area gets a bit much during the morning hours, but we manage. We try to keep things running as smooth as we can. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a place where the teaching happens. We have different departments for all sorts of technology stuff. You can find us pretty easily if you are in the neighborhood. The buildings have been standing here for years, and they have seen many classes of students graduate and move on. It is just a regular engineering school setup. There is nothing too flashy here, just desks, some computers, and a lot of books. We keep the grounds tidy when we have the time. Coimbatore is a good spot for this kind of school because of all the industries nearby. We just focus on the daily schedule and making sure things are ready for the morning. It’s a long day for most of us.
