We've been around Mandapam for a bit now. Most folks know us as Direct Reduction Iron Comany. It's funny how the address on the paperwork sometimes gets mixed up with personal details like martial status, but we are right here in Tamil Nadu, zip 641302. Running an iron place isn't always the easiest job, especially when the weather gets hot or the machines act up. My wife and I, we've put a lot into this. It's just a regular local operation. We spend most of our days dealing with the metal and making sure things get where they need to go. There isn't much to say about us that isn't just plain work. We show up in the morning, do what needs doing, and head home. Sometimes people ask what we do exactly, and it's basically in the name. We handle the reduction process for iron. It’s noisy and dusty work, but it’s what we know. We aren't a big fancy office with people in suits. Most of the time we have grease on our hands. The community here in Mandapam is small, so everybody knows everybody anyway. We just keep to ourselves mostly and focus on the iron.
