Dineshwar Textiles

We have been operating out of Krishna Market for quite some time now. Our shop is located at No. 247 Oppanakara Street, which is usually a very busy area in Coimbatore. Dealing with textiles is what we know. My father started this and now a couple of us manage the day-to-day work. It’s a small shop, honestly. We have rolls of fabric stacked up to the ceiling in some corners. When customers come in, they usually have something specific in mind, or they just want to see what new arrivals came in this week. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan is always on full speed. The market can be loud, but you get used to the noise after a few years. We handle all sorts of cloth here. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk with the neighbors. Other days, we barely have time to drink tea because there are so many people asking for prices. The inventory is hard to keep track of sometimes since we get new stuff frequently. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a counter, some stools, and lots of textiles. If you’re walking down Oppanakara Street, you will find us at the first shop in the market. It’s just a simple business trying to keep things running smoothly and making sure people get the fabric they were looking for. We’ve seen the street change a lot, but the work stays the same.
