You can find us at 259 Sathey Road in Ganapathy, Coimbatore. Coimbatore is a place that knows its industry, and we’re right in the thick of it. At Deccan Industries, we deal with a lot of metalwork and machinery parts. The shop floor is always a bit greasy and there’s that smell of cutting oil in the air. We’ve got a few old lathes and some newer drills that keep us busy from morning till night. The heat in Ganapathy can be something else, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors. It's just a few of us making sure the orders are done right and on time. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. They know we don’t use fancy talk or try to sell them stuff they don’t need. We just look at the drawing or the part they brought in and see if we can make it. Sometimes the steel prices go up and we have to explain why things cost a bit more, but we try to be fair. It’s a lot of hard work, and our hands are rarely clean at the end of the day. But there’s a sense of satisfaction when a part fits perfectly and the machine runs smooth. We’re just a small part of the big industrial map of Coimbatore, doing our bit.
