Corp Wear

We are based at No. 3/21 on Kunnathur Road in Perumanallur. Our shop is right opposite the temple, so we hear the bells and the music throughout the day, which is quite nice actually. Corp Wear is where we handle a lot of different clothing orders. It’s a simple building on a road that gets its fair share of traffic. Inside, there is usually the sound of sewing machines or the rustle of fabric being cut. We have rolls of cloth stacked up in the corners and finished shirts hanging on the racks. Perumanallur is a small place, so we know many of the people who walk past our door every day. Sometimes they just pop their head in to say hello. The work we do isn't very glamorous, it’s just making sure the sizes are right and the stitching holds up. We don’t have a big marketing team or a polished showroom. It’s just us working with the tools we have. On festival days, the road gets really crowded because of the temple, so things slow down a bit then. We just take it as it comes. It is a practical business run by people who live right here in the community. Most of our days are spent measuring and packing up orders for local businesses, trying to keep up with the demand without making a big fuss about how we do things.
